'At bottom, robotics is about us. It is the discipline of emulating our lives, of wondering how we work.' (Rod Grupen, Discover Magazine, June 2008)

Curtin Robofair 2011

Are you intrigued by robots? Do you like building things, electronics, computer technology and games? Do you want to see how robots are helping us in our everyday lives, and shaping the future? If so, then come along to Curtin Robofair!

What is Curtin Robofair?

Robofair is an engaging and inspiring robotics and related technology expo. The event aims to link industry, education and community in a fun and informative arena that showcases innovation in robotics technology. Robofair is a free public event, suitable for all ages and interests, from the technologically savvy, to the creative, or inquisitive. Best of all it is a lot of fun! A special feature of the expo is the iNexus robotics competition. For the third year running, University teams from across Australia will battle it out for the chance to compete on the international stage. The task for this year's competition has been set and can be seen here. The top three teams from the iNexus competition at Curtin Robofair will be invited to complete in the International Robotics Challenge, held in Mumbai, India, January 2012. Information on this exciting competition can be found at: http://www.techfest.org/home/event/inexus
